Maelstrom
Maelstrom
45min
Maelstrom is a performance for voice, body, guitar, live DSP, and live spatial diffusion.
A poetic exploration of water, the artist’s body, somatic practice, theoretical research, and act of personal ritual. It highlights the unconventional relationships and effects our bodies have on nature and how our environment shapes, changes and demands of the body. The work offers an embodied experience to feel into a deeper awareness — to what is going on internally and a cathartic process that engages a physical reckoning.
